Bengaluru: A petition filed by Congress leader D K Shivakumar against the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) summons in connection with the alleged money laundering case, was dismissed by the Karnataka High Court here on Tuesday, September 17.
The decision was announced by a divisional bench of the Karnataka High Court led by Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka.
It has also quashed the petitions of three other accused in the case namely Sachin Narayan, Sunil Sharma and Anjaneya Hanumantaiah.
Meanwhile, as an interim protection to the three, the court has directed the ED not to arrest them for another four weeks. The court, however, imposed a condition that when the ED summons them, they must appear for the interrogation process and co-operate with the officials.
