Bengaluru: State home department has prepared a list of 122 prisoners for early release from prison in basis of their good conduct.

State home minister Ramalinga Reddy informed that this list has been forwarded to governor seeking his approval.

“Soon I will meet the governor seeking his approval for the list that includes names of male prisoners who have crossed 65 years, women prisoners who have crossed 60 years and youth in the age group of 19 and 21,” he said and stated that he has directed the prison department to install 4G jammers in all the prisons. “Presently we have only 2 G jammers,” he said.

He also stated that recently he had visited the barrack where former Tamilnadu CM late Jayalalithaa’s close aide Sasikala has been kept.

” We greeted each other with Namaskaras and did not have any further conversation,” he said.
