Bengaluru: For the first time, the iconic Raj Bhavan, which is the official residence and office of the Governor, will be thrown open for the public to visit between August 17 and 30 as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
As per the decision, the members of the public will first need to register their names online on http://rajbhavan.kar.nic.in.
Those interested need to register their names and address and provide identity proof such as details of Aadhar card. Once these formalities have been done, a coupon will be issued at the Raj Bhavan entrance.
Visiting times have been fixed between 3.30 PM and 7 PM.
