Four LLB students sustain injuries after elevator crashes

Bengaluru: Four LLB students sustained injuries as the elevator, in which they were commuting, fell 40 feet to the ground in an apartment building, late on Sunday night.

All the students are from Hyderabad and were in the city to complete their internship.

According to the Pulakeshinagar police, the incident occurred in an apartment building on MM road in Pulakeshinagar. “The lift cable snapped while all of them were trying to exit from the elevator. A student has been admitted to the ICU as she sustained severe injuries. She fell out of the elevator car and sustained multiple injuries. Those who were inside the elevator car at the time of accident sustained minor injuries,” said police.

“These students arrived from Hyderabad to Bengaluru on Saturday and were all set to report for an internship at a city-based law firm on Monday,” the police added.
