Bengaluru: In a tragic accident, four persons died on the spot when a truck rammed into a hotel in the Borala village of Bidar district. The incident occurred in the wee hours of Sunday after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Apart from the four deaths, several others were injured in the incident.
According to the Aurad police, the truck driver lost control of the vehicle as its break wire was cut. First, the truck hit the roadside signboard and later rammed into the hotel. “As it was early in the morning, several villagers were gathered at the hotel for their breakfast. Four of the customers died on the spot while several others were injured. All the injured were rushed to the Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS) College,” informed the police.
