Bengaluru: Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda all set to move to Bengaluru North Lok Sabha constituency from Hassan. On Wednesday night he held a meeting with the party leaders from the constituency.
Senior party leaders including MLAs, MLCs and defeated candidates of the party in the assembly election 2018 attended the meeting. Gowda discussed the party organization and strength.
According to the party leaders, Gowda has asked them to submit feedback from the voters on the fortunes of the party if he contests in the election.
If Deve Gowda contests as the coalition candidate, union minister DV Sadananda Gowda will face tough competition. Presently, this constituency is represented by DVS who migrated from Mangaluru to Bengaluru.
