Bengaluru: Former Karnataka education minister BA Mohideen died of age-related ailments on Tuesday morning. He was 81.
The former minister breathed his last at the MS Ramiah hospital in Bengaluru at around 6am on Tuesday morning. He was admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore recently following deteriorating health condition and former CM Siddaramaiah had visited him.
Considered to be an honest and upright politician, his autobiography, Nannolagina Naanu (Me within Me) was to be released shortly.
According to sources, Mohideen's body will be taken to his Bengaluru's Sanjay Nagar residence at around 8 PM. The funeral is expected to be held in Mangaluru after making arrangements for people to pay their homage.
