Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who was rushed to a private hospital on Wednesday at 6.30 am following mild chest pain and high BP underwent angioplasty on doctor’s advice.
It is the second angioplasty for Siddaramaiah.
According to Dr Yatheendra Siddaramaiah, doctor son of the former CM, this procedure was performed because of the blood circulation related issues to the heart.
“The former CM is now recovering,” he stated.
According to government sources, Siddaramaiah is expected to be discharged from the hospital on Friday.
It can be recalled that former CM HD Kumaraswamy is also on a medical rest following blood infection.
