Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was hospitalized in a city hospital after he complained of chest pain. He was rushed to the hospital at 6.30 am.
According to the sources, Siddaramaiah was tired after a hectic campaigning schedule for the by-polls. He developed high BP and mild chest pain in the morning. So his family rushed him to a private hospital.
No health bulletin has been issued by the hospital yet, but sources say that Siddaramaiah is expected to be discharged from the hospital after a check-up by afternoon.
Siddaramaiah has stopped meeting both party leaders and activists since December 9 by-election results. He even stepped down as the Leader of Opposition after the poll debacle. His resignation has not yet been accepted by the party high command.
