Bengaluru: Minister for Forest, Aravind Limbavali, who is also the Minister for Kannada and Culture has been made the party in-charge for the West Bengal election.
On March 5, when Limbavali was on a Kalaburugi tour, he received a call from the party national president JP Nadda informed that he should reach West Bengal at the earliest. Based on the instruction, Limbavali cancelled his official tour.
Bengaluru South MP Tejaswi Surya has been campaigning intensively in the state.
Last year Limbavali served as the party in charge for Telangana, where the party has been eyeing power in the next assembly election.
