Bengaluru: Now onwards, one need not run from pillar to post to get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the state Fire and Emergency Services Department to build a multi-storeyed building. The same is now available through Online Fire Approval System.

The Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services Department has introduced Online Fire Approval System to get NOC for multi-storeyed buildings, commercial complex etc. Under this system, through the legal website of the department or mobile application, one may upload the details on intended multi-storeyed buildings or commercial complex’s blue print and other information. The respective fire station officials will visit, review the report and upload it online.

Fire department officials have to visit the spot before the construction, during the construction, and after the completion and review the status. They should give a certificate that it is eligible to be utilized. The department has taken this action to avoid the officers giving NOCs directly without review. Officials visit the place with a smart tab and upload the findings online; it will be confirmed by the GPS.

The benefits of Online Fire Approval System is control of corruption, digital signature, acceptance certificate, mobile-email message, online application details, saving time, digital signature etc.
