Bengaluru: Fans and followers of IPS officer Annamalai are upset over his resignation. Annamalai, known for his efficiency and sincerity at work had shocked everyone with his decision to resign from the force.
One of Annamalai’s fans from Bahrain has composed a song on the officer’s achievements. Safwan Sha, who hails from Vittal in Mangaluru has dedicated the song he composed for Annamalai. Safwan Sha, works as a Branch Manager in a company in Bahrain. The song he composed has gone viral on social media.
Speaking to Suvarnanews, Safwan Sha said “I have a lot of respect for Annamalai. I had met him once when I had come to India. I was impressed by the way he behaved and interacted. His resignation is saddening. He should have stayed in the service. People of Karnataka will miss an officer like him”.
“I had called Annamalai sir when he tendered his resignation. He said that whatever happens is for good, don’t worry. I felt I had to dedicate something for such an honest police officer, and composed this song. Annamalai sir heard the song and was very happy,” said Safwan.
