Speaking to reporters after the review meeting, the minister said “I have instructed the officials to initiate strict action against contractors who dump construction waste on the roadside. I have also asked them to bed out flowering plants on the dividers below the metro route.”

Dr Parameshwara clarified that there was no proposal to cancel the latest Bengaluru Development Authority(BDA) master plan.

A blueprint of the metro station was also released. State government and the foundation would sign an agreement on July 19 about the proposed project.
