Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the CD case involving former major irrigation minister Ramesh Jarakiholi detained the woman in Hyderabad.
However, police sources are tight-lipped over the latest developments.
According to the sources, the woman in the video is now being brought back to Bengaluru for further investigation. She will also be provided with security as appealed by her in the video.
Meanwhile, the Cubbon Park police also asked the woman to appear for the investigation. Now it is confirmed that the girl is from a village in the North Karnataka region.
