Bengaluru: Former CM Siddaramaiah has alleged JDS leader, former CM HD Kumaraswamy of trying to protect the communal forces in Karnataka.
Minutes after HD Kumaraswamy warned the Congress against any efforts to destabilise BSY led BJP government in the state, Siddaramaiah alleged that HDK is helping the communal forces in the state.
“HDK formed government in the year 2006 with the help of the BJP. Now again, he is speaking of supporting the BJP. It is against the very principles of secularism,” he charged.
‘We will never try to topple this government. But if the BJP fails to secure more number of seats in the upcoming by election, naturally this government will fall,” Siddaramaiah said adding that the Congress is ready to face the assembly elections any time.
