DVS flies from Delhi to B\'luru, skips quarantine rules, says he is \'Pharma Minister\'-1Bengaluru: Union Minister and BJP MP DV Sadananda Gowda, on Monday travelled from New Delhi to Bengaluru in flight, close on the heels of the domestic flights assuming operations.

However, what is shocking is that the Minister, upon arrival at the Bengaluru Airport, took his official car and went off with no institutional quarantine.

While quizzed about the same, Gowda told India Today TV that he is exempted from the same as he is the “pharma minister".

Karnataka had made rules of quarantining passengers arriving in the state.

Praveen Sood, Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) had said, “Incoming domestic flight passengers from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh will undergo 7-day institutional quarantine, followed by home quarantine.”

The home quarantine is for a period of 14 days after the institutional quarantine.

However, Sadananda Gowda managed to skip these quarantine norms after arriving in Bengaluru from Delhi.
