DVS blocks Soolibele on twitter after war of words?

Bengaluru: The twitter war between former CM and Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda and orator Chakravarthy Soolibele seems to be intensifying. DVS has reportedly blocked Soolibele on twitter after the latter raised the flood relief issue on the social networking platform.

Soolibele resorted to posting the screenshot of DVS having blocked him and sarcastically tweeted a ‘Thank You’!  All started with the Founder of Yuva Brigade and a staunch supporter of PM Modi, Soolibele attacking the central government for not having released funds for flood relief in flood battered North Karnataka, on Wednesday.

Soon, DVS responded to the tweet in a rather angry manner. The minister said that he can only sympathise with the people who post wrong information about flood relief status! Soolibele responded to this tweet and said: Finally, this man has spoken!

“The entire state sympathises with you, Sadananda Gowda. Don’t forget that your ministership is an alm given to you by the people of Karnataka. What is the use of the relief that doesn’t come on time? ” Soolibele wrote in Kannada. The tweet made way for huge discussions and debates and DVS responded to this saying that agreements, disagreements, arguments and counter-arguments are natural in democracy, but one should know where to stop.

I have no answer for people who resort to making personal attacks. We have responded to flood victims and will stand by them even in future. Once Soolibele claimed that DVS has blocked him on twitter, Gowda clarified that he hasn’t blocked Soolibele.
