Bengaluru: “Naa Ninna Mareyalare” is one of the blockbuster movies of Kannada superstar Dr Rajkumar. This movie, which released in 1976 was produced by N Veeraswamy and directed by Vijay.
One of the highlights of this movie is stunt scenes of Dr Raj riding on a Jawa bike. The sequence of the thespian chasing strain, speeding around a hill on the iconic Jawa bike was liked by millions of people.
Believe it or not. With just two days to go for the re-launch of Jawa bikes by the Mahindra and Mahindra, the marketing team has used the same scenes to promote the bike. In the latest teaser released by the company, Dr Raj’s stunt scenes are being used to promote the bike, which is all set to make a comeback.
The company released the new teaser on its Twitter account Jawa motorcycles, on Monday with a description which read: “While we await the epic homecoming of the Jawa on 15.11.18, here’s something to set your heart racing. Have fun watching this legendary scene from the film “Naa Ninna Mareyalare”.
The Czech motorcycle brand, Jawa Motorcycles, is owned by Mahindra’s subsidiary company – Classic Legends, which will be producing the bikes at the company’s Pithampur plant.
