Bengaluru: CM HD Kumarswamy’s son Nikhil Kumarswamy, who had recently contested into the much-hyped Mandya LS polls has reportedly told his father to stop bothering about politics and pay attention towards his health and well-being.
After the LS polls were held in the state, CM HDK and his father and former PM HD Devegowda proceeded to a resort in Kaup in Udupi to undergo Ayurveda treatment for stress-induced problems.
The two completed there stay on Friday and proceeded to Sringeri to offer prayers there.
At this point, Nikhil has told his father to relax and not think about the election results. His grandfather HDD has endorsed his views.
The CM has reportedly reduced a few kgs after the treatment and has been asked to follow a vegetarian diet.
The results of the LS polls will be out on May 23 and elections in Mandya hogged all the limelight as CM’s son locked horns with Sumalatha Ambareesh.
