Bengaluru: Upset by the demand for the inclusion of Panchamasali sect MLAs into his cabinet by a seer, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa warned that he is ready to resign from the post immediately.
This incident happened at Harihara Veerashaiva-Panchamasali mutt event.
“I am not glued to the CM’s chair. I am ready to go to my house tomorrow itself. If anyone gives suggestions, I am ready to listen. No one shall threaten me. If you start threatening, I will leave the stage,” he warned.
It all started when Veerashaiva Panchamasali seer Vachananda said that the Panchamasali society will withdraw support given to the CM if he does not include at least three from the sect into his cabinet.
The Seer, specifically made a reference to BJP leader Murugesh Nirani and said that the CM must not sideline people like Nirani, who have worked very hard for the party and for BSY.
Raged by the tone of the seer, the CM said that nobody reserves the right to threaten him.
The incident happened in front of the Suttur seer.
