Bengaluru: The special CBI court extended the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) remand of Congress leader and former minister D K Shivakumar till September 17.

The court asked the ED to file its objections to DKShi’s bail applications by Monday.

The judge also asked the ED to take the former minister to a doctor, take care of his medical condition and then question him.

According to sources, during the hearing, the ED authorities informed the court that DKShi has accounts in 20 countries and money transactions have been made using 317 accounts.

“Following the custodial interrogation, the agency was able to unearth over Rs 800 crores worth of illegal properties,” the ED informed the court.

Following the ED’s submission, they declined any immediate relief to DKShi.
