Bengaluru: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) special court has adjourned the hearing of Congress leader D K Shivakumar’s bail plea to Saturday 11 AM.
This means that DKShi will have to spend at least two nights in the Tihar jail.
On Thursday, KM Nataraj resumed arguments for the ED and urged the judge not to grant DKShi bail. He presented a few sensational documents revealing the money laundering transactions between various countries.
Referring to the G Janardhana Reddy and Jagan Reddy cases, Nataraj urged the court to allow the ED to quiz DKShi further to find out the source of the money.
He also pointed out that the money has been transferred from 317 bank accounts and argued that the granting of bail to the Congress strongman at this stage will hamper the investigation.
