Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president DK Shivakumar’s proposal to rejig party frontal organisations are now approved by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) interim president Sonia Gandhi. DKShi has brought his loyalists to these posts to keep a close eye on the party affairs.
As per the notification issued by the KPCC president’s office, BL Shankar will head the media and communication department while VR Sudarshan will be the co-chair. Ponnanna will head the legal cell and RTI cell.
For the first time, KPCC formed a data team for the analysis. It will be headed by former IT/ BT minister Priyank Kharge.
Former minister KJ George will head party-state assets committee. Another former minister Ramalinga Reddy will head the party Bengaluru assets committee.
