Bengaluru: Close on the heels of DK Shivakumar taking over as the chief of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, BJP State Chief Nalin Kumar Kateel has opined that the former is the captain of a ‘sinking ship’.
“The enthusiam and dynamism that DK Shi is now having is going to die down soon. His own people will accomplish it,” Kateel said adding that very soon his own people will make Congress ‘DKShi Mukht’ and the BJP will make the state Congress-Mukth.
While DK Shi had said that he will fortify the party as the KPCC chief and also make the Congress cadre based, Kateel said that rooting out the BJP from the state or from the nation is impossible because the BJP has always been a cadre-based party.
“Out party and the government has done outstanding work in the state and PM Modi himself has lauded our work. The country comes first and rest all follow. This is the idea that PM MOdi has given us and we will follow this,” he said.
