Bengaluru: In a big twist to the suicide case of Ramesh, the personal assistant of former DCM Dr. G Parameshwara, the Income Tax department authorities reportedly handed over documents showing his involvement in several scams to the city police. This has now stopped Congress leaders from raising the issue.
According to sources, IMA scam kingpin Mansoor Khan was allegedly blackmailed by Ramesh. ‘Ramesh allegedly collected Rs 5 crores from him. This was revealed by Khan himself,” said sources within the city police department.
Sources also said that when the IT department raided an apartment that belongs to Ramesh, they seized over Rs 4 crores in cash and a few pornographic videos as well. “He had collected the private videos of several personalities. All of them were documented by IT. Fearing that he may face a lot of problems because of this, he committed suicide,” said police sources.
