Bengaluru: The Twitter account of actress Ramya alias Divya Spandana, who is the Congress social media head, is no longer visible. The buzz amongst the state Congress sources is that she has deleted her account on the micro-blogging site.
According to several of her followers, her account is not visible anymore. “There are no tweets or history,” said a Congress leader.
Rumour has it that Ramya quit as the Congress party’s social media head. So far, there has been no official statement regarding the issue from the All India Congress Committee (AICC) or Ramya herself.
It can be recalled that it was Ramya who gave a much-needed fillip to the social media cell of the AlCC and took on the BJP’s senior leaders for their propaganda. She was one of the widely followed politicians in the country on social media.
