Bengaluru: JDS supremo HD Devegowda has already created a lot of buzz about the possible constituency that he may contest in the upcoming polls and now a statement from his son and Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has left eyebrows raised.

CM HDK has said that his father is contemplating whether to contest the polls or not.

He was speaking to reporters after meeting HD Devegowda at the latter’s residence in Padmanabhanagar.

“He wanted to contest from Hassan, but that constituency has been given away by him happily to my nephew Prajwal. Hence he is unable to make a decision on a constituency to contest from, ” he said indirectly hinting that his father may take a decision of not contesting polls.
