Bengaluru: A Kerala resident who is working as a chef in a PG in BTM layout died due to Covid – 19 infection as he didn’t get an ICU bed on time. He was married just a week ago.
According to the authorities, the chef was in his early 30s and developed Covid – 19 symptoms three days ago. The doctor who checked him advised him to get admitted as his oxygen level had dipped to 84%. As there were no ICU beds in any hospitals he returned home with his wife. He died at home on Tuesday May 4.
His final rites were performed in a city crematorium. As he is the sole breadwinner of the entire family, his wife and other members are shocked by his untimely death.
