Bengaluru: City sessions court granted bail to former minister and mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy in the Ambident scam. He is expected to walk out of the Parappana Agrahara prison today evening or Thursday morning.
The court had reserved its order on Tuesday. Reddy advocate CH Hanumantharayappa argued that when accused no 1 of the case is already out of the prison there is no meaning in keeping Reddy in the jail. Though the CCB advocates argued against bail to Reddy, the judge upheld the arguments of Reddy’s advocate and granted bail.
