Bengaluru: If the Congress compares us with fundamental policies of the BJP, what about their sudden temple visits, which is popularly known as ‘Temple run’? Is it not an act of fundamentalism, he asked Congress leaders.
“If we have a saffron mindset like the RSS, how can a Muslim leader of the country like MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi support the JDS without any condition? They have supported us because we have a strong secular stand. The Congress party leaders which still call us communal just have a jealous attitude and fear of defeat. Moreover, Congress might have changed the faction. The ‘Temple run’ attitude shows nothing but the same,” he retorted.
Speaking at a public rally in Virajpet, HDK said AICC President Rahul Gandhi, who says that JDS has an alliance with the BJP, is just a ‘Papa Pandu’.“Don’t know whether Owaisi is communal or not, but Siddaramaiah is definitely communal. I and my wife both lost and won elections. So, there is nothing to learn from Siddaramaiah,” HDK said for Siddaramaiah’s comment on his wife’s election defeat.
