Bengaluru: Congress MLA from Shantinagar, N A Haris, who sustained injuries on his right leg in a minor explosion on Wednesday night, has been discharged from the hospital.
It can be recalled that the MLA sustained injuries when a minor explosion occurred during a cultural event in Vanarpet at around 10 PM. Six others also sustained injuries.
Mohammed Nalapad Haris, son of N A Haris stated that attack was a targeted one. “This event was organised to celebrate the birthday of MGR. A ball-like object was thrown at him causing him injuries,” he stated.
Haris, who was admitted at St Philomena’s Hospital in Bengaluru, was discharged on Thursday, afternoon.
