Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa carried out his first city rounds on Sunday after becoming the CM. However, what was evident was the cold vibes between former DCM and incumbent revenue minister R Ashok and DCM CN Ashwath Narayana.
The uncomfortable equation was evident as the two did not even smile looking at each other even as they remained accompanying the CM on the rounds for over two hours.
According to the sources, R Ashok is very upset with Ashwath Narayan for sidelining him in the state politics by using his network at the New Delhi level. R Ashok is still not able to digest the fact that he was denied DCM’s post.
Onlookers say that though the CM made attempts to bring the two together, but all efforts only when futile.
