Bengaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will hold a video conference with all the DCs of the state on May 13 to take stock of the drought situation and relief work.
According to sources at the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the CM has directed all the DCs to furnish a comprehensive report on the drought relief work, availability of fodder, drinking water conditions and jobs for daily wage workers in the drought-hit areas.
Meanwhile, the CM also decided to send a team of senior officers to Chikkamagaluru and Hassan to review the monsoon preparedness. The team will visit these two districts on May 10 and hold a meeting with senior officials.
