CM to hold meeting on implementation of Auradkar committee report today

Bengaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy called for a meeting of senior officers of the state police department and finance department to discuss the implementation of the Raghavendra Auradkar committee report on police reforms and increase in their salaries and facilities.

The meeting will be held today at 5 PM. DCM Dr G Parameshwara, home minister M B Patil and other senior ministers and officers will attend this meeting.

The Auradkar committee report recommended a 30% hike in the salary for policemen apart from an improvement in the facilities. The committee submitted its report in the year 2016.
