Bengaluru:In the year 2006, CM HD Kumaraswamy became very popular as the CM because of his village stay programme. His village stay programme helped him to understand the problems of the Rural Karnataka and brought him both name and fame.

But this time even after a year after assuming charge as the CM he didn’t re-launch this programme due to various reasons including poor health. However, now it is said that the CM is all set to relaunch the scheme to arrest the falling popularity graph.

The programme will be re-launched with a few changes and as against the former pattern of staying in villagers’ houses, this time the CM will stay in village schools.

The CM informed about the plans through a series of tweets and stated that his idea is to understand the problems of villages and improve the school infrastructure.
