Bengaluru: Immediately after presenting his budget, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy rushed to Sringeri Sharada temple of Chikkamagaluru district, on Friday evening and attended an array of pujas and special homas. He was accompanied by his brother HD Revanna, state Public Works Department (PWD) minister and wife and MLA Anita Kumaraswamy.
CM HDK arrived in a special helicopter to Sringeri and directly visited the temple. “It was Friday and pious day for the Goddess,” said JDS leaders.
If sources close to the former prime minister HD Deve Gowda are to be believed, CM HDK attended Sudarshana Homa. “The family is concerned about the stability of the government. That is why this homa was performed,” said a JDS leader.
CM HDK will visit Dharmastala on Saturday and inaugurate the Mahamastakabisheka. From Dharmastala he will leave to Bengaluru
