Bengaluru: In order to assess the drought situation in the state, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy held a video conference with the deputy commissioners and CEOs of Zilla Panchayat of the respective districts, here on Wednesday, May 15.
The agenda of the meeting was drinking water facility, protection of animals, requirement of fodder, cattle shelters, fodder bank and employment opportunity.
In the meeting, Revenue Minister R V Deshpande, Minister for Rural Development, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Krishna Byre Gowda, Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka T M Vijay Bhaskar, and officials of various departments were present.
