Ramnagar: On the allegations and counter allegations on the issue of BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa’s son Vijendra meeting the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax Department (I-T), Chief M Kumaraswamy has said that he would face it if a defamation suit is filed against him.
Reacting to the comments made by the CM, BSY has demanded that the former must apologise. BSY has warned that if the CM does not oblige, then he would definitely file a suit. Meanwhile, BSY has also openly challenged saying that he would retire from politics.
Speaking to the reporters he said, “Who is defamed? Let them proceed with whatever they have decided to. I’ll speak about it later.”
CM Kumaraswamy ironically said, “Are there any doubts about the officials being wielded? I will not hide or retaliate.”
The Income Tax department has made it clear saying that none of the minister’s family members has met them.
