Bengaluru: In a new twist to the alleged Operation Kamala allegations, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy released an audio clip, in which former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa is allegedly found offering Rs.25 crores and district in-charge minister post to an MLA.

This audio clip of 40 minutes was recorded by Gurmitkal JDS MLA Naga Gowda’s son Sharanu Gowda. In this audio clipping, it is found that a person is offering money and minister post to an MLA. It is not clear whether it was BSY’s voice or not, but HDK has claimed that it was BSY making an offer.

CM HD Kumaraswamy released the audio clip in an emergency press meet in the city. He alleged that this 40 minutes audio clipping is the proof for the unethical practice adopted by the BJP to topple his government.

He stated that he will submit the clipping to the assembly speaker and request an investigation.

Sharanu Gowda, who was present in the press meet alleged that BSY called him four times. “But our family is committed to JDS party,” he said.
The BJP has denied the allegations and hit out at the CM stating that it is a fake clip.
