Bengaluru: BJP state vice president B Y Vijayendra, son of Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

Vijayendra himself confirmed the news on Twitter.

He informed that he tested positive for the disease during a routine check-up.

“I am doing fine, asymptomatic, and have isolated myself,” he wrote, requesting all those who came in contact with him recently to “take precautions and stay safe”.

It can be recalled that when CM BSY and BJP MP from Chamarajanagara V Srinivas Prasad tested positive for the virus, Vijayendra has isolated himself as he had been in contact with them.
