Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will chair a meeting of the COVID 19 task force today. It is the first meeting of the task force after N Manjunath was appointed as the BBMP commissioner.
According to sources, the meeting is likely to review the state government’s strategy on COVID 19 control and where it is failing to arrest the spread of this infectious disease.
CM is also likely to hold a review meeting with the DCs of those districts where a huge number of COVID 19 cases has been reported and where short term lockdowns have been re-imposed.
According to BJP sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to hold a telephonic conversation with BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday. Both leaders are expected to discuss the prevailing situation in Karnataka.
