Bengaluru: It seems, CM BS Yediyurappa is totally out of the favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amith Shah. His efforts to get an appointment to meet the Modi is failing miserably.
As per the original schedule, the CM was supposed to meet Modi on Thursday. That is why the state cabinet meeting scheduled on Thursday was preponed to Wednesday. But till Thursday morning, the CM was unable to get an appointment of Modi.
According to the sources, due to various reasons including the loan waiver scheme, there are no funds available with the state government to take up the flood relief works. This is hampering the reconstruction and flood relief works.
“The state government is eagerly waiting for the central funding under the NDRF, but strangely, Modi is not showing any interest to meet Yediyurappa,” explained a BJP leader.
“The entire situation is like a godsend gift to Congress. But the party is marred by the difference of opinion between Siddaramaiah and Parameshwar factions. The JDS is clueless. Poor people of the state are suffering,” he added.
