Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will offer bagina to the Krishnarajasagara dam built across river Cauvery in Mandya today.
KRS dam was filled in the second week of August following heavy rains in Kodagu and surrounding areas. CM Yediyurappa, who will arrive at Mysuru around 11 am will first visit Chamundi temple atop the Chamundi hills and will later visit the dam. After offering Bagina, he will visit Kodagu to review the flood relief works.
Revenue minister R Ashok will accompany the CM.
