Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, who is in Kerala for two days to perform special pujas to neutralize the effects of the annual solar eclipse of December 26, faced the ire of both the UDF and LDF activists in Thiruvananthapuram over the violence seen during the CAA protests in Karnataka.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning.
BSY is in Thiruvananthapuram to participate in homas at the famous Ananta Padmanabha temple.
When he was leaving his hotel to go to the temple, UDF and LDF activists blocked his convoy and shouted slogans against the BJP government for the police firing in Mangaluru and police crack-down across the state.
Later, local police arrived at the spot and cleared the road for Yediyurappa’s vehicle to pass through.
BSY is expected to return to Bengaluru on Wednesday evening.
