City police nab two, including accused in 24 criminal cases

Mangaluru: The Ullal Police have arrested two accused in separate cases of attempt to murder, assault, dacoity and theft cases.

The arrested accused are Mohammed Musthafa(21) and Mohammed Hanif(30).

The police arrested Mohammed Musthafa(21) alias Musthafa, alias Sonu, a resident of Mukacherry near Ullal Durgha, on Sunday, July 21 in connection to the murder attempt case of Venkatesh in Masthikatte, on June 29. The accused had gone absconding after the incident.

A rowdy-sheeter, Mohammed Musthafa has already been booked under two cases of attempt to murder in Ullal police station, one theft case in Konaje police station and one kidnapping case.

Another accused Mohammed Hanif(30) resident of Madaninagar, Ullal, is a notorious criminal who has been booked in 24 criminal cases at various police stations in the city and Kushalnagar in Madikeri. The court has already issued an arrest warrant against accused.
