Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa is under pressure to induct all the newly elected MLAs who joined the party from JDS and Congress.

On Monday, he waited for party national president Amit Shah’s call all through the day. Now he is hoping that he may get Shah’s appointment on January 18 when the latter visits the state to attend pro CAA and NRC rally.

According to the sources, on Monday, the CM had cancelled all his programmes hoping that he may get Shah’s call. The CM wanted to talk to him about the cabinet expansion. “He was ready to fly to New Delhi at any time. But Shah did not call him. It left BSY embarrassed,” said sources.

Meanwhile, former minister H Vishwanath who is awaiting a cabinet berth stated that seeking minister post is the right of all those who quit JDS and Congress to join the BJP. “If we had not sacrificed our political future, BJP could have never come to power in the state,” he said.
