Bengaluru: Challenging star Darshan’s latest movie “Tarak” which hit the silver screens across Karnataka on September 29 became the latest victim of online piracy.
The producers of the movie were in for a rude shock after some of the fans live streamed some of the scenes from the theatre on Facebook on the first day of its release.
Tarak, one of the most anticipated movies of Darshan stars Shruti Hariharan, Shanvi Srivastava and Devaraj.
The producers of the movie have been trying to retrieve the leaked scenes. Director of the movie Prakash said, “It has come to our notice that some of the scenes were leaked online on Facebook which is condemnable. We hope that everybody respects our hard work.
It may be recalled that few weeks ago, another Kannada movie “Bharjari” starring Dhruva Sarja was leaked on Facebook which cost the producers dearly.
