Bengaluru: Certain BJP leaders speaking at will without any control over their words are unfit for public life ,said state Congress President G Parameshwar.

Speaking on the centennial death anniversary celebrations of former prime minister Late Indira Gandhi, G Parmeshwara listed state BJP President and former chief minister B S Yeddyrurappa, Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde and BJP leader Eshwarappa as experts in tongue lashing and questioned their RSS upbringing and their culture where there is no control over words in public sphere.

Indira Gandhi played an instrumental role in uplifting women in the society to ensure they got due recognition in a male dominant society, said Parmeshwar adding, “Her remembrance is vital.”

Congress programme “Mane Manege Congress” will continue in December, said Parmeshwar. The Women’s Wing of Congress has been asked to light 100 diyas in memory of Indira Gandhi, he added.

Rahul Gandhi will lead the party to victory with his youthful exuberance, predicted Parameshwar.

BJP’s attempt to decimate Congress party and its leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi by resorting to worst form of politics will not work out, said state Congress Working President Dinesh Gundu Rao, speaking on the occasion.

Veteran leader C K Jaffer Sharif lauded Siddaramaiah government’s performance in the state and advised Prime Minister Modi to give up “Hate Politics.”
