Bengaluru: Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy on Wednesday May 12 said that the centre should relax the norms of Ayushman Bharat scheme to allow Covid-19 patients to benefit from it.
He said that there were several shortcomings under the scheme which prevented Covid-19 victims from receiving free treatment at private hospitals.
Kumaraswamy pointed out that the beneficiaries of the Ayushman Bharat should be given free treatment for Covid-19.
