Bengaluru: Cafe Coffee Day founder-chairman late Siddhartha’s father Gangaiah Hegde passed away on Sunday, August 25. He was 95 years old.
Hegde had sustained head injuries after slipping in his estate in the Gauthahalli village of the Chikkamagaluru district around 40 days ago. He was undergoing treatment at the Gopala Gowda Shanthaveri Memorial Hospital in Mysuru.
Siddhartha had visited his father at the hospital a mere four days before his death.
The family members have informed that the final rites will be held on Monday evening at his home town.
